Things at MakoDigital Arts are going well. As you might already be aware, we’ve secured funding to run several projects and we’ve had great fun delivering those over the past month or so.
Not being ones to rest on our laurels, we’re starting to turn our attention to venues. We’re always on the look out for venues and organisations that we can work alongside to host our future workshops, but we’re also starting to look for possible venues of our own.
Our work will always take us out and about, as we want to work with as many people as possible, however, we feel that a major step towards achieving our mission statement would be to have a facility of our own.
Vision
Our vision is a community that can express themselves creatively through digital art
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide expert guidance, which inspires communities to embrace creativity and express themselves through digital arts, media and technology.
A centre of our own, where we could operate the CIC and host some of our workshops from, would help us take immeasurable steps towards helping the local community.
Can you help us?
We’re looking for a venue that can grow as we do. We’re ambitious but we don’t need much to begin with.
Our basic requirements and desirables are:
Requirements:
- x1 Large workshop space
- Office Space (for about 4-5 people)
- Small Kitchen Area
- Toilets
Desirables:
- Good Transport links
- Parking
- Additional Office/Workshop Space
What’s in it for you?
Aside from massively helping your local community, by providing a unique opportunity for people to learn and engage with new and exciting arts and tech, as a CIC we qualify for Business rates relief with most councils.
So if you have disused property, or know of someone that might be able to help at all at this moment in time, we would be greatly appreciated you getting in touch with us.
