We take on commercial commissions as well as funded projects. All profits are reinvested into providing more community workshops & projects.

Creativity
We help people to be more creative
We understand that not everyone has access to the tools and resources needed to create digital art, which is why we provide access to training, digital art software, hardware and online resources to help people unlock their artistic potential.
Whether someone is a beginner or a seasoned pro, we believe that providing digital tools and resources to create art, graphic design, animations, videos, audio and more, helps to improve creative expression and personal well-being.
Our community-driven approach offers workshops, meet-ups, online discussions and opportunities to collaborate with like-minded individuals and industry experts to turn creative ideas into reality and share them with the world.
Digital Arts Box is more than just a collection of software and learning resources, we bring people together to share ideas and inspire each other. Participants involved in our activities get help and direction from industry experts, as well as other creative members of the local community. We teach digital art to the community
At Digital Arts Box, we’re committed to teaching digital art to the community and providing access to the tools, resources, and training needed to improve knowledge and understanding of digital arts, media, and technology. Our projects are always designed to inspire people of all abilities to have the confidence to learn new skills while empowering them to utilise those skills in a positive way.
Our sessions are tailored to the individual needs of our participants, whether they are just starting out or have more experience. We understand that everyone learns differently, which is why we employ a variety of teaching & learning methods, including tutorials, video guides and interactive workshops, to ensure that everyone can find a teaching style that works best for them. Our approach to teaching digital art is flexible, adaptable and inclusive, making sure it’s accessible to a wide range of people.
We ensure our projects cover a diverse range of digital art and design software and technologies, to give participants a comprehensive understanding of the digital art landscape. We focus on the principles of design, visual storytelling, and the theory and history of digital art, which provides a deeper understanding and enables our participants to make well-informed decisions.

Social Impact
We have a positive social impact on communities
At Digital Arts Box, we believe in the power of creativity and its ability to bring about positive change in individuals and the wider community. That’s why we take a unique approach to promote social impact through digital arts, media, and technology.
Our approach centres around group work and social interaction-based learning and experiences. We believe that learning is most effective when it is collaborative and interactive, so we encourage participants to work in groups and engage with others to learn from one another, share ideas, and give and receive feedback. This approach helps to boost communication and interpersonal skills in addition to improving artistic skills.
Creative expression is a key component of our approach and we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages individuals to explore and express their creativity. By building self-confidence and fostering self-expression, we help individuals discover their full potential and create a positive impact on their own lives and those around them. Furthermore, we recognise that employability is an important aspect of social impact, which is why we design our approach to provide new technical skills and knowledge in digital arts and ICT.
