Testimonials
Into Film has partnered with Digital Arts Box for more than nine years, spanning a diverse range of projects, including delivering in-depth professional development for schools in their area, and numerous standalone projects on an ad hoc basis. They have delivered over 3,000 instances of training in educational settings across the Northwest for Into Film in that period, and the feedback has always been excellent. Evaluation they carry out as part of the projects often cite how inspired teachers feel to embed the film literacy and filmmaking activities they have learnt into their teaching practice. They have delivered across a broad array of topics, adding their own expertise into the mix, and we have always had complete faith in having them represent us.
I have had the pleasure of working with Digital Arts Box CIC for over a decade, funding multiple creative projects that have provided incredible opportunities for young people in Halton. Through their engaging and high-quality programs in animation, video game design, and digital art, they have consistently delivered impactful experiences that inspire creativity and develop new skills.
One standout initiative was the Coding Clubs in Runcorn and Widnes, which ran for two years and were incredibly well-received—not only by the young people attending but also by parents and the wider community. These sessions increased footfall in our libraries, reinforcing them as valuable community hubs. ...Read More
As a school committed to fostering creativity and inclusivity, we are incredibly proud of the success of the Creative Hangout digital media activity club for our SEN students. This club has become a vital space where students of all abilities can explore their passions, develop new skills, and express themselves through various forms of digital media.
Having collaborated with Mako / Digital Arts for over 10 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to encourage students to participate in activities beyond school hours — something that can often be a significant challenge for many of our students. Issues like meeting new people and accessing and adapting to unfamiliar environments can be daunting. By hosting sessions within our school, we’ve helped ease some of that anxiety, allowing students to pursue their interests, develop new skills, and form meaningful relationships with both their peers and the warm, approachable staff. ...Read More
