We sat down and spoke to Grace, who shared what she’s most looking forward to work with Digital Arts Box!

The Work Stuff:

What motivated you to join Digital Arts Box, and what has been the most exciting or surprising part of your role so far?

Having done creative workshop facilitation and worked in arts settings before, I wanted to work somewhere that used those skills to improve other people’s lives.

What are you most looking forward to accomplishing or experiencing while working with Digital Arts Box?

I’m looking forward to seeing all the new projects we have in the works come to fruition, and seeing the difference art and community makes in people’s lives.

The Personal Stuff:

What is your favourite hobby or pastime outside of work?

I like to workout (weight lifting and yoga), volunteer at the community garden, and write poetry.

What’s your favourite book or tv show?

My favourite book is The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald, followed closely by Transmission by Harry Kunzru. My favourite TV show is probably Bob’s Burgers, but I also love Maniac, Atlanta, and any trash reality TV.

What’s a talent or skill you possess that most people don’t know about?

I am a proficient juggler (please don’t ask me to juggle)
