Joint Funding Application

Client Name:

Ascent Autism Specialist College

Partnership Overview:

Year Creative and Digital Skills Programme

Pounds Worth of Funding Secured

Partnership Aims:

  • To work with Ascent to develop a strong joint funding application.

  • To secure funding to deliver a free two-year programme of creative and digital workshops for young adults with autism.

  • To create accessible opportunities for young people to develop skills, build confidence and make social connections.

The Solution:

We worked with Ascent, an autism specialist college, to develop a joint funding application that would enable us to deliver creative and digital workshops for young adults with autism.

Having already delivered paid pilot sessions with Ascent, we were able to build on what we had learned and develop a longer-term programme that could reach more young people.

Together, we agreed the aims, activities and expected outcomes for the project. Our team then developed the funding application and budget, working with Ascent to refine the proposal before submitting it to the funder.

The Outcome:

Our joint application was successful, securing £20,000 in funding for a free two-year programme running from 2025 to 2027.

The funding will enable us to deliver accessible creative and digital workshops for young adults aged 16-25 with autism, creating opportunities to learn new skills, explore different creative activities and build social connections.

It also means we can extend the programme beyond the college and engage more autistic young people from the wider local community, helping more young people access creative opportunities.
