Overall, having a positive social impact throughout the wider community.
We have a positive social impact on communities
At Digital Arts Box, we believe in the power of creativity and its ability to bring about positive change in individuals and the wider community. That’s why we take a unique approach to promote social impact through digital arts, media, and technology.
Our approach centres around group work and social interaction-based learning and experiences. We believe that learning is most effective when it is collaborative and interactive, so we encourage participants to work in groups and engage with others to learn from one another, share ideas, and give and receive feedback. This approach helps to boost communication and interpersonal skills in addition to improving artistic skills.
Creative expression is a key component of our approach and we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages individuals to explore and express their creativity. By building self-confidence and fostering self-expression, we help individuals discover their full potential and create a positive impact on their own lives and those around them. Furthermore, we recognise that employability is an important aspect of social impact, which is why we design our approach to provide new technical skills and knowledge in digital arts and ICT.
Overall, our approach is designed to have a positive social impact by providing access to digital arts resources, training, and a supportive community, empowering individuals to make meaningful contributions and connections to their local community whilst also improving employability prospects.
